Third Eye Books Presents: Deconstructing Karen

Third Eye Books presents a screening and Q&A with authors Regina Jackson and Saira Rao.

DECONSTRUCTING KAREN (2022), directed by Patty Ivins Specht, is a documentary about Jackson and Rao’s Race2Dinner program, in which nice, white women attend the wildest dinner party of their lives. The main course is a radically honest conversation to inspire white women to confront themselves and to acknowledge their own racism and complicity in white supremacy.

Following the screening, Jackson and Raio will host a Q&A about their work and New York Times bestselling book “White Women: Everything You Already Know About Your Own Racism and How to Do Better.”
