Consent is essential in any healthy relationship, including between a workplace leader and the people they're responsible for. And yet, so many of us feel like we can’t say no to work that doesn’t align with our values, or is outside the scope of our contracts and job descriptions. Do you ever wonder how an ordinary person can navigate the gap between what is and what should be in today’s workplace?
Join us on November 20 from 4:30 - 5:30 PM for Consent at Work, a facilitated conversation about what consent means in a workplace context and how we can improve our practice of consent to create healthier organizations.
Have you experienced the ceiling becoming the floor at your job? Are responsibilities piling on with no end in sight? This month, we’re talking about how we cope when last year’s best is next year’s failure. At the end of the discussion, we should all have realistic next steps to take in our working lives to help mitigate the harm of unrealistic work goals.
