The Black Rose (Church of Film)

A millionaire renovates his mansion into a pleasure palace devoted to his “hobbies.” He hires a mysterious dancer, Ryuko (played by Japanese drag and cabaret legend, Miwa Akahiro), who captivates every man at his parties, driving them to madness and death. She carries a black rose, which she claims will turn red when she falls in love. Based on a play by Mishima, THE BLACK ROSE is a phantasmagoric display of Miwa Akahiro’s incredible talents.
