The mutilated body of a student is found beneath Rome’s oldest bridge, the Ponte Sublicio. Detective Morlisi is put on the case, which at first seems to be connected to organized crime. Soon, however, he is drawn deep into a conspiracy that involves ancient rituals and modern cults, the phantoms of an obscure history, and the secrets of existence beyond death. NIGHT VOICES is a 5 part miniseries, considered the lost masterwork of Pupi Avati, Italy’s master of metaphysical horror. 

Known by fans as the Italian Twin Peaks, it aired in 1995 on Italian public television, and then disappeared for nearly two decades after. When it returned, it was heavily censored in a very unusual way. We will be showing the original, uncut full 5 episodes, translated and subtitled for the first time ever in English by Church of Film!
