CANDIDS: A Comic Reading

The Oregon Cartoon Project presents CANDIDS, an intimate comics reading from artists S.L.V., Nia Musiba, and Nat Garcia, as well as a feature showcase of Eleanor Klock’s debut comic book Fool’s Ballad. Glimpse into the world of the PDX alternative comics scene as these artists candidly share their stories.

The Oregon Cartoon Project (OCP) is a nonprofit that strives to support and promote comic artists, cartoonists, animators, and artists alike in Oregon and the greater PNW area. The OCP’s Anne Elizabeth Richardson Artist-In-Residence program has made way for local comic artists to bring their passion projects to life, including both Nat Garcia (previous resident, 2024-‘25) and Eleanor Klock (current resident, 2025-‘26).
