The Alabama Solution

The Oregon Justice Resource Center is hosting a Martin Luther King Jr. Day screening of The Alabama Solution to bring together our community as well as people who are new to the issue of mass incarceration to learn more about the brutal conditions of the prison system in Alabama and how they relate to what Oregonians are experiencing in state prisons here. Together, we will discover the work being done by currently and formerly incarcerated people, families, attorneys, advocates, and allies in Alabama and Oregon to change the harsh realities of prison life and bring justice to people inside and their families.
