THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE (1977) (Church of Film)

A young beggar in Lusatia, Krabat, is summoned to a mysterious mill to work as an apprentice. It is no ordinary mill, but one run by a powerful sorcerer who enslaves young men while teaching them black magic. On Christmas, he challenges one of his boys to a sorcery duel to the death. As Krabat becomes more skilled in the dark arts, will he be able to break the deadly cycle and escape?
