The Others (Church of Film)

Alessandra and Flavia are two unbelievably fashionable partners who live a pop-art masterpiece of a flat. They want a child. And… that’s pretty much the plot. THE OTHERS is a unique entry in the Sapphic genre most notable for what it isn’t: No tales of debauchery, corruption, or tragedy. Just the quiet (did I say very fashionable yet?) lesbian couple next door building a family. This portrayal ironically attracted the attention and ire of the censors and condemned the film to obscurity.
