“It all began in this little shop.”
Join us in supporting the future of queer independent cinema with this special screening of Frank Oz’s wildly fun musical masterpiece LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (1986), hosted by local filmmaker (and our emcee for THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW) Thom Hilton!
Business is blooming at Mushnik’s Flower Shop: customers are rushing in to see the exotic potted plant called Audrey II. But this vegetable has one strange diet, and it’s starting to sing for its supper! Starring Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, Vincent Gardenia, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, John Candy, Jim Belushi, and Christopher Guest with all-time great vocal performances by Levi Stubbs as Audrey II and Tichina Arnold, Michelle Weeks, and Tisha Campbell as the Greek chorus alongside a two-time Academy Award-nominated plant.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly towards production of Thom’s upcoming short film GENRE FLICK. Filming in May, GENRE FLICK is a raunchy queer comedy that will be filmed and take place almost entirely at the historic Clinton Street Theater!
Attendees will learn about additional crowdfunding opportunities, how to be an extra in the film, and more.
