Based on the novel of the same title by Sam Greenlee and directed by Ivan Dixon (Hogan's Heroes, Trouble Man), the film follows the story of a former CIA agent (Lawrence Cook) who organizes Black teenagers into well-trained guerrilla bands called The Cobras bent on overthrowing the white establishment.
