Buried for 500 years, the Monkey King is rescued by the monk Tang and decides to join him on an intrepid pilgrimage to the West. But along the way they are beset by the terrifying White Bone Demon and her gang, who seek to eat the flesh of Tang and his coterie. Only the powerful, clever and mischievous Monkey King can see through her disguises, but Tang and his group won’t believe the legendary trickster!
