THE CURSE OF THE DOLL PEOPLE (Church of Film)

A group of academics and scientists are targeted for pillaging a sacred idol from a temple, by voodoo dolls. Not dolls that are stabbed with pins however, but animated dolls that stab others with pins. Very odd. This classic Mexican horror epitomizes pulp, horror, and adventure genres, where wild misunderstandings of science and culture lead to spectacular, strange, and surreal contortions of possibility.
