Roza: The Country of Two Rivers

Join us for a free screening of a documentary about the Rojava Revolution with stories of Assyrian, Kurdish, Arabic people, who have been subjected to attacks from ISIS and others while trying build a communal system with democratic autonomy. Filmmaker Kutbettin Cebe was unjustly sentenced to two and a half years in prison in the fall of 2020 in Balıkesir, Turkey by the oppressive state for “making propaganda for a terrorist organization.”
