About the film:

“As homelessness explodes throughout the nation, community organizers in downtown L.A.’s Skid Row fight for the rights of residents to live in dignity and peace amidst the punishing cruelty of the meanest city in America.”

The Dirty Divide (96 minutes) is a staggering look at a human disaster that most of us will never slow down long enough to understand. It is an unflinching look at a city’s colossal failure to address what the current mayor himself has called, the “human rights issue of our time.” Ultimately, it is a very human cry from folks who ask for so little but could be giving us all so much. It’s a film with a decided point of view—one that asks us to recognize a “dirty divide” in each of us.

Below is a trailer for the film.
