In the struggle for liberation and world recognition, Palestinians increasingly turned toward the camera as a tool to tell the world about their struggle–sometimes at the cost of their lives. PALESTINIAN RESISTANCE CINEMA collects a variety of Palestinian film perspectives, from the experimental narrative short The View, to the guerrilla films of the PLO Film Unit, and the invaluable work of Lebanese filmmaker Joceylne Saab, all which captured the struggles, the tragedies, the massacres, and the faces of an occupation and diaspora as they happened.
