USA Premiere of an intimate and often uplifting look at childhood via the traditions of four Indigenous peoples, this evocative documentary transports us to the Amazon where we commune with the Guarani Kaiowá, Guarani Ñandeva, Baniwa, and Khisêtjê.
Immersed in their daily lives, the film highlights traditional knowledge and the ways it is passed on to children through play and ceremony. For each of these peoples, nature is alive and inhabited by many souls. At the forefront of this world are the children, who, as one Guarani Kaiowá elder says, embody the continuity of life.
