Bill Plympton Presents Slide + Duckville

Portland-born animator Bill Plympton makes a special appearance at The Clinton Street Theater for a screening of his most recent feature film, Slide (2023), along with his latest short film, Duckville (2024).

Slide follows a guitar-playing cowboy in a corrupt 1940’s logging town, who battles a pair of evil twins to save the village of Sourdough Creek. Duckville is a dark fairy tale, staring Academy Award-nominated voice actor Jim Dale, about a duck village that fakes a wild monster attack to increase fame and sympathy in order to gain tourists.
