Echoes of the Grunge Age

Special premiere of a new film from Spider Moccasin, divided between narration and music videos, about the local Portland music scene in the 1990s at venues like Satyricon, X-Ray and La Luna, using paper cutouts and hand-drawn animation.

The film is less of a documentary and more of a performance artist memoir from the perspective of an unsigned insider who didn’t make it big, but made it happen anyway. Produced by Mike Lastra (Northwest Passage).
