Convinced that a scarecrow is throwing pebbles at him, Abdollah draws a face on it and gives it his cap. But as random tragedies and strange circumstances beset the village, it seems everyone in town is convinced that the scarecrow possesses supernatural powers. Alone in disavowing the influence of the spectre in the field, Abdollah attempts to gather a resistance.
