Private Screening of “The Dirty Divide”

Operation Nightwatch Portland will proudly host a special screening of Paul Freedman’s documentary, The Dirty Divide.

Panel discussion with the filmmaker and local organizations immediately following. Representatives from nonprofit organizations here in Portland who provide dignified support and care to our unhoused neighbors include:

Operation Nightwatch Portland, Hygiene4All, and Sisters of the Road.

There is no admission fee. However, space is limited, so please reserve your seats today to be guaranteed admission. The event will launch the 2022 Willamette Week Give!Guide campaigns for the participating organizations. Donations to those organizations are appreciated but not required.

About the film:

The Dirty Divide (96 minutes) is a staggering look at a human disaster that most of us will never slow down long enough to understand. It is an unflinching look at a city’s colossal failure to address what the current mayor himself has called, the “human rights issue of our time.” Ultimately, it is a very human cry from folks who ask for so little but could be giving us all so much. It’s a film with a decided point of view—one that asks us to recognize a “dirty divide” in each of us.
