Kenny, a struggling actor in Los Angeles, feels his life turned upside down when his birth mother reaches out after having not been in touch for over a decade. He's forced to deal with his black sheep mother when she unexpectedly arrives at his doorstep.

“Barbie’s Kenny” is a character study exploring the mother son bond and the past’s power over present in this familial drama. Inspired by a true story, and the works of Steve Buscemi & John Cassavetes.
