Join  authors  and  editors  from  two independent publishers  in  this  west  coast  meets  east  coast celebratory event. You’ll hear terrific new work from poets and writers and there will also be an informal Q&A with the editors where you can ask questions about submitting work or publishing in general.

Founded  in  January  2012  in  New  York  City,  great weather for MEDIA focuses  on  the unpredictable,  the  fearless,  and  the  innovative.  Their  latest  publication,  The Understanding between Foxes and Light,  is  an  exhilarating  and  diverse  collection  of  poetry  and  prose  from established  and  emerging  writers  across  the  United  States  and  beyond.  Great weather for MEDIA also organizes numerous  readings, multimedia performances, book  releases, and open mics in New York City and throughout the country.

Printed Matter Vancouver works with new, emerging, or established poets and writers. Services include editing, coaching, workshops, manuscript layout, format, and production. They have published two books: Ghost Town Poetry, an anthology of poems from the popular monthly open mic reading which they co-host at Cover to Cover Books in Vancouver, WA, and Serenity in the Brutal Garden, the debut collection by Vancouver poet Jenney Pauer. Early 2014 brings the publication of a second volume of the Ghost Town Poetry anthology to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the series.
