The podcast network is bringing its humorous shows about video games and media to Portland, Oregon for its first annual DuckFest. The event will be held at the Clinton Street Theater (2522 SE Clinton St.) on Saturday, August 31 from 9:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. It will be a full day of live entertainment, featuring shows from the Duckfeed network and special guest appearances by other local Portland podcasts.

Duckfeed hosts Gary Butterfield and Kole Ross have performed live at events across several major US cities, but this is their first time putting together their own event. “The prospect of putting on an event like this is daunting, but exciting. The Clinton Street Theater is a perfect venue for us, and I’m looking forward to spending a day with members of our wonderful community, and hopefully meeting new fans too.” Ross and Butterfield will host live versions of their flagship shows Watch Out for Fireballs! and Bonfireside Chat, in addition to other shows from across the network. Local Portland shows like Spec Script and Pitch, Please! will be joining the network on stage as well.

Tickets go on sale on July 1, 2019, for $15 apiece. Pitch, Please! is the podcast version of Carolyn Main's card game of the same name. Each episode, contestants must pitch the best movie they can in a limited amount of time.

Spec Script is a podcast where hosts do table reads of spec scripts for popular shows, written by people who have never seen an episode of those popular shows.

A day's admission to the podcast festival is $15.00 per person, flat. No convenience fee, no processing fee.
