Included will be Efrem Pruzhanskiy’s Alice in Wonderland (1981)\, Evgeniy Sivokon’s Laziness (1979)\, Alla Gracheva’s The Fern Flower (1979) & Viy (1996)\, and many more!

A cloistered elite idles in a land of light\, color\, and consumer pleasures\, but must confront a separate world of darkness behind a door. These are some of the visions in the absurd existential dreamscapes of Estonian animator Priit Parn.  \n\n\n\nEschewing the elegant stylings of Soviet animation of the time\, Parn opted for a surreal style that could be ugly and disturbing\, but even more varied and meticulous. This program includes his masterpieces HOTEL E and BREAKFAST ON THE GRASS\, along with many other rare treats from his career.
