DESCRIPTION:Doors @ 6:00 PM / Show @ 6:30 PMIt’s Monkey With a Hat On’s 33rd Ten Minute Play Festival! \n\n\n\nSince 2011\, the Portland 10MPF is an event MWHAO produces 2-3 times a year. The Festival features new plays written\, directed and performed by Portland artists – with a live musical act in between each play! Every play is ten minutes or less and every festival features a new theme. The theme for this play fest is… Future! Every night will feature all of the Future-themed plays and music in the festival\, so enjoy all of the acts on any of the five performance nights. The 10MPF is a very fun\, well-attended event\, and there is nothing else like it in the city! \n\n\n\nIn the Future Ten Minute Play Festival you will experience: the latest creation from a world-renowned failed scientist\, a spaceship piloted by giant cat aliens\, the complexities of having an android caregiver\, a boy’s consciousness uploaded to a goblin video game and a dog with her new intriguing technological device. With an emphasis on comedy\, the festival will also feature elements of drama\, a dash of romance and certainly some Portland-eque quirkiness! \n\n\n\nThis play festival will feature music from the awesome local musical act\, Junglecorp\, with their new Future-themed musical story performed in between each of the plays! Junglecorp leaves the audience thoroughly entertained and they are excited to be a part of the 33rd 10MPF. We will never turn away audience members for lack of funds\, and we have an open door policy where anyone can submit a play or try out to be involved. DESCRIPTION:Doors open at 10:00 PM on Saturday for the 11:00 PM show. \n\n\n\nJoin our weekly screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show that started in April of 1978! Starring Tim Curry\, Susan Sarandon\, and Barry Bostwick\, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) continues to titillate and delight audiences all over the world. \n\n\n\nTonight’s screening features the cast of the Clinton Street Cabaret! $2 from every ticket goes to support the group. Come see the famous\, rambunctious show that has played every single week at the Clinton Street Theater in Portland\, Oregon. \n\n\n\n\nDirector: Jim Sharman\n\n\n\nCountry: USA\n\n\n\nYear: 1975\n\n\n\nRuntime: 100 minutes\n\n\n\n\n\nStarting March 16th of 2024 the CSC will have a selection of tickets for each show which are available to our BIPOC community members FREE of charge! \n\n\n\nTo reserve one send an email to the Clinton Street Cabaret clintonstreetec@gmail.com with the heading BIPOC Affinity Ticket and include your name and the date of the show you would like to reserve a ticket for in the body of the email. Only 1 ticket can be reserved per person per show and reserved tickets also include a prop bag. These tickets can only be reserved by confirmed email with the Clinton Street Cabaret and are not available to reserve at the Clinton Street Theater box office. \n\n\n\nTickets can be reserved starting 2 weeks before a show and no later than 2 hours before the show. Please note we won’t be able to accommodate late requests for shows that are already sold out. These are tickets specifically for the Clinton Street Cabaret’s performances of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Clinton Street Theater\, on the 1st\, 3rd\, and occasionally 5th Saturdays of the month.  \n\n\n\nShowings on 2nd and 4th Saturdays or “For Virgins” nights are not Cabaret shows and do not qualify for this program.
