STARRING: Natasha Lyonne\, Clea Duvall\, RuPaul\, Mink Stole\, Cathy Moriarty\, Michelle Williams\, & more! \n\n\n\nOur annual screenings of But I’m A Cheerleader are very popular and tend to sell out fast\, so grab your tickets now to secure your seat for the show before they’re gone! \n\n\n\nCULT SENSATION is a queer celebration of cult cinema\, a monthly film series presented by Portland drag icon and resident programmer Violet Hex. Each month Violet carefully curates interactive screenings featuring themed pre-film DRAG SHOWS and DJ SETS exploring (and paying tribute to) the fashion\, music\, drama\, and queerness of cult cinema. \n\n\n\nFilm Description:Megan (Natasha Lyonne) considers herself a typical American girl. She excels in school and cheerleading\, and she has a handsome football-playing boyfriend\, even though she isn’t that crazy about him. So she’s stunned when her parents decide she’s gay and send her to True Directions\, a boot camp meant to alter her sexual orientation. While there\, Megan meets a rebellious and unashamed teen lesbian\, Graham (Clea DuVall). Though Megan still feels confused\, she starts to have feelings for Graham. \n\n\n\nThe Clinton Street Theater is wheelchair accessible\, however the restrooms are not ADA compliant.
