SUMMARY:Resistance Climbing - Screening and Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Join Portland area outdoor enthusiasts for a screening of the 2023 Reel Rock Film “Resistance Climbing\,” a 40 minute documentary that highlights the inspiring community of climbers in Occupied Palestine. Following the screening\, there will be a Zoom Q&A featuring climbers from the film. The event will close with an amazing raffle with items donated from Arc’teryx\, Mountain Hardware\, Patagonia\, Evo\, Metolius\, The Circuit\, and other local buinesses/climbing gyms/artists! \n\n\n\nAll ticket sales and raffle proceeds will be donated to HEAL Palestine\, an organization dedicated to providing urgent and long-term solutions for Palestinians. \n\n\n\nWe’ve partnered with Bar Norman for a pre-show happy hour from 4:30pm – 6:30pm\, with 10% of sales donated to HEAL Palestine. \n\n\n\nAfter the event\, join us next door from 9:00pm – 10:00pm for a post-event social at Lucky Horseshoe Lounge\, with 25% of all sales donated to HEAL Palestine.
