SUMMARY:The Legend Ten Minute Play Festival
DESCRIPTION:It is Monkey With a Hat On’s 32nd Ten Minute Play Festival and it’s going to be LEGENDary! That’s right\, for their 32nd Festival they are doing a theme that touches on stories that have been passed down for the ages… Legend! \n\n\n\nIn the Legend 10MPF\, you will experience a conspiracy theorist bigfoot who is vegan\, the legend of Atlantis told through a very riskay book\, a world-renowned chef and his bizarre new dish\, a couple who run a haunted house featuring “The Night Creature\,” and the untold story of Baba Yaga! \n\n\n\nThis play festival will also feature music from the awesome local musical act\, Junglecorp – with their new\, Legend-themed musical story performed in-between each of the plays!  Junglecorp leaves audience members thoroughly entertained and they are excited to be a part of the 32nd 10MPF. Check out Junglecorp’s music for previous play festivals\, fun videos and connect with them at junglecorp.org \n\n\n\nThe Portland 10MPF is an event MWHAO produces 2-3 times a year. We feature new plays written\, directed and performed by Portland artists – with a live musical act performing in-between each play! Every play is ten minutes or less and all of the plays are performed every performance night. It’s a very fun\, well-attended event and there is nothing else like it in the city! \n\n\n\nWe are theater for everybody: never turning away audience members for lack of funds and we have an open-door policy where anyone can submit a play or try out to be involved. These are your stories\, Portland! \n\n\n\nThe Legend Ten Minute Play Festival will run about 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission. \n\n\n\n***We will not turn away anyone for lack of funds.
