DESCRIPTION:Take an inspirational and informative journey through the vibrancy of all that is India. From the henna wallahs on the colorful and lively streets\, to traditional henna application methods in the home\, and of course\, the sumptuousness of the incomparable Indian wedding. \n\n\n\nWorld of Henna is the first feature length documentary film series to capture the story of henna and the differences and similarities between cultures using henna since ancient times. The film won the Portland Filmmakers award at the 2021 Portland Film Festival! \n\n\n\nOur first fundraiser event helped cover the costs of our driver and translator as we ventured through the desert to capture the world of Moroccan henna last March. We are now fundraising for post production costs including sound mastering\, coloring\, musical score\, release costs\, and the multitude of other costs involved in independent film production. \n\n\n\nIf you would like to see the film from the comfort of your own home\, it is currently available online to rent now at https://worldofhennadocumentary.com • all proceeds from rentals will also be helping to fund the production of the next film.
