SUMMARY:Anti-Capitalism At Work: A Discussion Series at the Clinton St. Theater
DESCRIPTION:Buy an all-sessions pass for $185. Scholarships are available\, no questions asked\, email marina@newcoyote.com for more information. \n\n\n\n\n\nFacilitated by Marina Martinez-Bateman\, People-First Management Expert\, CEO\, New Coyote Consulting \n\n\n\nAre you working (or being encouraged to work) more and more hours\, but feeling less and less productive? Toxic Productivity is the phenomenon of working to unhealthy\, sometimes deadly ends.  \n\n\n\nThis will be a digital and in-person facilitated conversation with the goal of helping us create stronger boundaries at work. \n\n\n\n\nEveryone is talking about meaningful work. We’re tired of being exploited by capitalist systems that don’t have our best interests at heart. Whether it’s the nonprofit industrial complex\, the corporate grind\, or being under-staffed to death in start-ups and state agencies\, we’re all ready for something else. \n\n\n\nBut what is that something else? This discussion series is meant to bring working people together to discuss what we have the power to change in our day-to-day lives\, and how those changes should be made. \n\n\n\nTickets are $35 each\, or buy an all-session pass for $185. Scholarships are available\, no questions asked\, email marina@newcoyote.com for more information. \n\n\n\nToxic Productivity – Sunday\, September 25\, 2022 – 4:30 to 5:30 PMConsent at Work  – Sunday\, November 20\, 2022 – 4:30 to 5:30 PMUnrealistic Work Goals – Sunday\, January 8\, 2023 – 4:30 to 5:30 PMWhat’s Real Self Care? – Sunday\, March 19\, 2023 – 4:30 to 5:30 PMWorker Solidarity – Sunday\, May 7\, 2023 – 4:30 to 5:30 PMFinding a Good Job – Sunday July 23\, 4:30 to 5:30 PM\n\n\n\n\nAbout Marina: Marina Martinez-Bateman (they/them) is a serial entrepreneur and a grassroots communicator with more than 20 years’ experience motivating people to take action on behalf of political\, cultural\, and commercial interests.
