If You Want to Help Us With Our CoVideothon

Here's what you need to know....

You don't need fancy equipment to make a video. All you need is a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or phone that has a camera and a microphone.

Several software applications make it easy to create video, including QuickTime and Photo Booth.

WEBCAMAdjust your screen so that you take up most of the space (ideally, from your shoulder to just a few inches above your head). Depending on your setup, you may need to raise your chair (I do this when I am recording on my computer), tilt your screen, or put the device on a box to make it higher (this is what I do when I am using my iPad).

Click the record button. Remember to wait a few seconds before you start and after you finish, so that there's a "head" and "tail."

When you have created your video, put it in DropBox, WeTransfer or Google Documents and send the link to Roger:

We should be able to work with those standard files, but if you're more tecnically inclined, here's a good spec for our use:

Resolution: HD1080 (HD720 is ok)

Format: h.264/MP4

Thanks for sharing your talent and creativity with us!
